I was one of the first to get Masitaly (khan RSR copy's) on my saff,

Pictured in Wheel Mania catologue back in 1998,

But looking at the pictures Smit has put up the Compomotives are doing it for me :top:

westurbo 08-03-2005 06:48 PM

how much?? fook.. I like them a lot, but not that much :D - good luck with ya sale!

tonypastie 08-03-2005 09:50 PM

do you get a car to go with them at that price :blabla:

rallye news 08-03-2005 10:26 PM

If matey boy from the Traders section who's had Rondells remade in 18" wanky ET18 (Escort Cosworth fitment only) can charge a grand for just rims alone and £1500 quid with Toyo's then what's wrong with this price for good as new 17's with nigh on new rubber being as they'll fit ANY Ford fitment and being as you can't get them anymore ??? Check out the thread !!!

richm 08-03-2005 10:30 PM

chill mate, I know how hard they are to find, you are welcome to ask whatever you see fit :) best of luck :top:
I like them a lot, my personal faves, but I wouldn't pay good money for any wheels, just not THAT important to me, other peeps have different priorities!

smudgerz, looking forward to see it! :top:

bazpro 11-03-2005 06:50 PM

i like the rs 7 spokes but think thats because thats what i got. there is a really clean white saff coz around gateshead somewhere with diamond cut ones and it looks the bollox. also like compomotives too.

I8A4RE 11-03-2005 09:21 PM

Yes, I have also had Comp. MO's on my mind, but they are just so much more expensive, than a set of rs 7 spokes. I have an offer on hand on new rs 7 spokes, imported directly from Cologne, so that is also a reason for me, to get those. And I also think, there is some kind of value in, that it is original Ford RS stuff.... :top:

stesrst 13-03-2005 08:34 AM

jus ordered a set of white MOs (to match the car) ill get some pics posted as soon as they arrive. cheers for the advice ;)

bill 13-03-2005 03:30 PM

I8A4RE 16-03-2005 10:29 AM

Yes, that looks nice! :top:

Looks like 215/35-18, right?

Have you rolled your arches?
Looks like the car is standard height?

smudgerz 16-03-2005 11:47 AM

I8A4RE cars on koni shocks and springs, think its been lowered but not buy much! Arches havent been rolled, just dont fancy carrying people in the back!!!
Tyres are 215/35/18's. Seem to be ok.

I8A4RE 16-03-2005 12:57 PM

Smudgerz, these wheels have an ET of 41 mm, right? So how much space is there between the inside of the wheel and the shocks/springs in the front? Do they fit right on without spacers?
What are the 215/35 like to drive on? Hard as steel or? It really looks great with these low tires, but it would worry me, if I hit a hard bump or so on the road. The rims are more exposed for being bend with tires that low. I don't know for how long you have been driving with these wheels, but do you have any experience on these matters?
And does the car handle as good on 18's as on 17's?
I'm just trying to gain some knowledge, in order to know, if I should go for some 18's instead of 17's. :D

I have 17" gold rsgt alloys on my white saph and look cool but wish i bought some rs diamond cut or escos now!!!!!!!!

smudgerz 17-03-2005 09:35 AM

18A4RE, got some spacers made up buy zoo motorsport, also needed longer wheel studs. The ride is a bit hard but nothing too harsh. The saff is my everyday car i do a round trip of 60 miles everyday for work and dont have any probs :top:

plater 19-03-2005 06:19 PM

18" five spokes certainly fill out those big-ole saf arches
