I feel a change comeing on

I was one of the first to get Masitaly (khan RSR copy's) on my saff,

Pictured in Wheel Mania catologue back in 1998,

But looking at the pictures Smit has put up the Compomotives are doing it for me

If matey boy from the Traders section who's had Rondells remade in 18" wanky ET18 (Escort Cosworth fitment only) can charge a grand for just rims alone and Ł1500 quid with Toyo's then what's wrong with this price for good as new 17's with nigh on new rubber being as they'll fit ANY Ford fitment and being as you can't get them anymore ??? Check out the thread !!!

chill mate, I know how hard they are to find, you are welcome to ask whatever you see fit best of luck
I like them a lot, my personal faves, but I wouldn't pay good money for any wheels, just not THAT important to me, other peeps have different priorities!

These are mine new wheels.

I'll get them on the cossie for the summer:

17" 7,5j Borbet C wheels

Before the Borbet wheels, i've got some Escos Wheels on it (in the summer)

Yes, I have also had Comp. MO's on my mind, but they are just so much more expensive, than a set of rs 7 spokes. I have an offer on hand on new rs 7 spokes, imported directly from Cologne, so that is also a reason for me, to get those. And I also think, there is some kind of value in, that it is original Ford RS stuff....

Yes, that looks nice!

Looks like 215/35-18, right?

Have you rolled your arches?
Looks like the car is standard height?

Smudgerz, these wheels have an ET of 41 mm, right? So how much space is there between the inside of the wheel and the shocks/springs in the front? Do they fit right on without spacers?
What are the 215/35 like to drive on? Hard as steel or? It really looks great with these low tires, but it would worry me, if I hit a hard bump or so on the road. The rims are more exposed for being bend with tires that low. I don't know for how long you have been driving with these wheels, but do you have any experience on these matters?
And does the car handle as good on 18's as on 17's?
I'm just trying to gain some knowledge, in order to know, if I should go for some 18's instead of 17's.

18A4RE, got some spacers made up buy zoo motorsport, also needed longer wheel studs. The ride is a bit hard but nothing too harsh. The saff is my everyday car i do a round trip of 60 miles everyday for work and dont have any probs
