Removing dump valve on sapp 4x4
Hi I want to remove the dump valve on my sapp, I've got a blanking bung but what will I need to do with the vacuum pipe on top? Just block it off? Also will I run into any problems removing the dump valve? Car has a mad 380 conversion with a t34.55 cheers

to remove dump valve from inlet pipe, fit blank. Then block off the thin pipe where it comes off the manifold with a cap - use a cable tie to prevent it popping off.
There is great debate about dump valves, but the idea behind them is not the sound but letting out the pressure to stop the air in the intake stalling as you come off the accelerator between gears, for a faster responce as you go up the gears. Mine recirculates into the filter box to muffle the sound as I didn't want any sound.

Thanks for reply, I'll remove it tomorrow and see what it's like, if I don't like it I can always put the dump valve back, I just don't like the sound, I like chatter
