Default Clearance using COILOVERS

NEED HELP!!
I was looking at installing c/o to get better tire choices. At the moment I'm running Com MO6 17x8 ET 45, with 215/40 17 front and 235/40 17 rear. Up front I used to be on XR4ti hubs using 8mm spacer to get tires just off the Koni/Eibachs. I bought some Sapphire Cosworth 2wd front suspension hubs and Konis/Eibach. These without the spacers now got me 2-3mm clearance. Ok I can even get more with spacers if needed. That would put my ET at 37mm. It's just that i can't go much bigger in diameter cause spring perch is like 13mm above tire.

What do you use for tire/wheel size/offset and being you're on coil-overs, where does your tire in relationship to bottom of springs/adjuster? Pics if you can.

Here are some pics of what I've got going on. This pic before Cosworth hubs.

This one of hubs difference(which you probably already know)

Tire clearance now

Strut clearance of 3mm

And here now, without spacers got more wheel tucked under with original ET45, I'll probably bring it back out some

Glenn,

You'll gain a lot of clearance with coilovers. I still have some meat left on my perches which could be removed further.

When I was mocking up different wheel options, I snapped a few pictures.

This is the stock XR4Ti hub, ET49 17x7 wheels with 215/45/17s fitted:

Spacing out 9mm, effective ET40 offset:

On Sapphires you want ET37 for 17"x7.5" wheels. I'd imagine you are amaing for around the same for your car? Also remember coilovers on the rear actually decreases clearance.

I was advised to use et35 with 215/40R17 tyres. Thats on a 4x4 Sapphire though and was specced to avoid arch rolling.
