Default 4x4 header tank vs 2wd header tank???

Hi guys, I need a new standard looking header tank for my 3 door. It seems you can only get the 4x4 ones unless you want alloy ones.

I've heard you can modify the 4x4 ones to fit a 2wd?

Is this true and what needs doing?

Thanks

4x4 header tanks dont have a sensor hole only the 3 door ones do. The water return pipe is smaller on the 2wd too
