Is that a standard ford one? Can an after market lambda be used with msd system?
My car has the standard lambda but by changing the turbo there is nowhere to screw it into. I'm going to weld a boss into the downpipe for a sensor. Guess what i'm asking is, would the standard lambda or an after market one be best to use for closed loop system?

Just make sure it is a decent make, I'm sure the MSD ones are the excellent BOSCH widebands, like shown above.

This on picture abowe look like Bosch sensor from MSD closed loop kit, it has M18x1,5 thread.
Std cossi sensor mounted on turbo housing is M12x1,25mm thread.
Weld on lambda boss on downpipe after turbo and then fit unit as above, or buy std Ford sensor - available through Stu @ MSD from memory.
