Hello Pete, lovin the pics! Not liking the grill though, standard looks is best!
Captiva, Your quite right the car originated from new from Plymouth, Simon Lester of Woodford Motorsport looked after the car from pretty much from when it was 3 years old. The car passed through various hands and stayed local to Plymouth until my best mate bought her in 1999, who lived in Salisbury, and I bought it off him a year later, and owned/restored/showed her for 6 years.
Pete, will try and get to the Pod mate.
Ian.

Hello Staffi! Did you buy the wheels when Steve sold them?
They were the bollox, Antracite with a polished rim, havent seen a set like that since.
Few pics from about 5/6 years ago....
Managed a 13.001 at the Pod, just after being judged and winning in Concours!
Always wanted to get the car into the high 12's, but never managed it.
Those were the days!
I have that pic full size framed in my lounge!

Pete, the original owner form new contacted me years ago and sent me these, note the reg and the name of the garage, check your history, it was about 2 or 3 years old. Note the rear number plate cover thing off a ghia! lol
Next to his mates 500, with fogs not grills. 2 new Cossies, you could of bought the street back then!! lol!

Note the RS logo, and logo by the valve, attention to detail!! lol
I wanted these after I saw Neil M's black 500 on them, although he had 18's on rear and 17's on front. Another awesome car!

Wet day in Concours, Margam park, with Ant, Rob, Dunc, my ex Debbie, and me. Note Ants and me matching hats!
Still won even though the weather was bad, and got the Spec-R Car of the Day!

Maxest, ah yes I remember now, looks awesome!
And yes as nice as they looked, they are a weak wheel. It used to tram line and wander about a bit. It was also a bit tooooo tight on the APS, a fag paper between the caliper and rim.
If I remember, they were et35 8j all round, 8j on the front of a 3dr will never drive as nice as 7.5j.
I think the MO's were 7.5j et37 front, 8j et35 rear, 215/40 all round. Drove absolutly perfect! on them.
Did try 235's on rear, but didnt fit too well, so went back to 215's.
Anyway Im all out of pics, so over to you Pete!

Thats exactly what it did with me,, and i know the previous owner Martin (budweis) tried curing this,, but as soon as the comps went on it cured it...
