Default baily breather

i resently treated the sapp to on but am struggling to secour it as it comes with a plate wellded 2 the side and 2 holes in it. am i ment to bolt it to a strut top?
as the ones on my friends cars are a compleatly diff mounting bracket and mount near the batuary.
please help me lads as its doing my head in rattling under the bonet

if the mounting bracket is at the top then you have the wrong one that is for an esc cos and sits on the strut top, if it goes all the way from the top to the bottom you have the right one, this mounts to a bolt next to the battery on the metal shield on the bulkhead

yes it is at the top, i got it brand new and was told this is the corect item now, thanks for ya help
