Default What wires?

What colour wires which come from the stalk are for the windscreen washers?
Thanks Billy

Fuse 15 feeds 12V to stalk terminal 54 (black/violet wire). When the washer button is pushed, a connection is made within the stalk, joining terminals 54 and 53C (black wire). 12V is thus fed to the pump. Instead of the second pump terminal being directly connected to earth, the wire from the pump (black/yellow wire) returns to the stalk (terminal W), where there is a permanent connection to stalk terminal 31, which should be earthed (brown wire).

I think it's just the one live to the pump as said, although I think you have two pumps on 3DR, one for the rear as well.

The terminals on 3dr stalks, IIRC, are laid out differently to later sierra stalks. Is it definitely an original 3dr stalk you've got fitted ? If not, this could well be the cause of your problems.

The 3dr washer pump should take a feed directly from fuse 4, and then on to the stalk (black wire terminal 53C), which switches to earth when the washer button is depressed (via brown wire terminal 31).
