hello chaps
im wanting to install a oil pressure gauge and water temp gauge to my cosworth,
when i get the gauges do i need any other parts to install these correctly and how easy are they to fit

You may need adaptors to fit the sensors (if they are electrical gauges) or the pipes (if they are mechanical). You'll need a T piece to get onto the oil pressure switch too.

you should get all the bits n pieces with the gauges you buy

just dont get shit ones as they will read wrong and that defeates the objective

I wouldn't worry about the accuracy unnecessarily, prior to the gauges fitted you didn't know the readings anyway, not as if the engine will suddenly go wrong just because these have been fitted, even ford gauges vary hugely in the case of the temp gauge at the exact same temperature, some of the k1 sierra gauges could even be adjusted.
