As replied over on the the other thread - i had a CR version on mine and ran 2.4 bar and that was restricted due to only running 55Ib injectors so possibly 40psi on 83Ib - lag was there as you would expect from a large turbo

This was my CR T38, greys, STD engine, STD cams - so basically not spec'd for this turbo - not too laggy for a big turbo

Chris, that's one serious kick in the arse graph, from 4k revs you had 250bhp and then just another 500revs to 4.5k well over 400bhp..i bet that spun the rears??

It was a good turbo Pete and like i said above was really wasted on my engine - when i first got this car it was a learning curve and i've learnt over the years that it's a package deal that makes them work, you can't just just throw a turbo on and thats it, it has to be correctly spec'd which is why the cars that come out of SCS work very well.

That is true, mine surged a lot before it was live mapped, Msd mapped it out though, just meant I had to lose a bit midrange though, which wasn't entirely a bad thing because it made it more diff/gearbox friendly lol.

I'm running a TT t38 with flowed head, bd14 inlet and bd10 exhaust at 2.2 bar and got 450hp / 440lbft

Engine is with joe at the moment for solid lifters, big cams and cosworth pistons. I'll let you know how it gets on

What spec TT T38 ?

Mine has a billet comp wheel and anti surge housing.

What inlet manifold was that on ?

Default T38.63 v's T38.48

I'm thinking of changing my CR T38.63 to a .48 to get it to come on boost earlier.

Does anyone here have a T38.48?
