Default Manifold fitment

Bolted my fresh head down and me mate said i should be fitting manifold first, i told him to do one

was fitting my new studs for the manifold earlier and placed the manifold on

how fucking tight is it, how are the bottom bolts tightened ???

you should of bolted manifold to head first

They're a shit to get to two of the bolts/nuts on 2wd, SHOULD HAVE FITTED MANIFOLD FIRST!!

Can be done with it on but its a PITA to do, i wouldn't take the head off again just struggle and learn the hard way like i did lol.

As above can be done but is a struggle, good old design by ford/cosworth!!

Just looked on your Resto and i see the engines still on the stand, should be easy enough to do tbh. I have fitted one when it was on the car once.

stubby 13mm spanner did the trick for me, wasnt easy but not the worst manifold ive ever had to fit by a long long way

think i may wait till i have the rocker on so i can turn upside down on the stand
