Default T5 gearbox rear oil seal

Hello,

Does anyone have a part number for the rear oil seal (e.g. SKF, TIMKIN, etc). I am trying to cross reference a part number here in the states.

Cheers

Cant you just use the dimension numbers off your old one, its a standard seal ie nothing one off.

Fortunately I was able to find it on SKF website and found it at a local autoparts shop.

For future reference the SKF part number is 13963. The seal dimension shaft=35mm, Bore=55mm, OD=55.16mm

I am not sure what the difference is between the bore dimension and OD. It must have somthing to do with it being an interference fit.

This is how it is quoted:

Shaft
35
Bore
55
OD
55.16
Width
8
Weight
0.021

I forgot to mention the width in the original post.

Yes as you say the "added" 0.16mm must be due to the interference fit, so the actual seal is a 35-55.16-8 handy to know saves me hunting if mine starts leaking, thanks for the info much appreciated.
