Repairing 3dr turrets..

Just a quick one regarding the above,whats the best way or any tips repairing the turrets on a 3dr..other than sourcing another shell?

got any pics?

is it the comment problem where water has got under the wheel arch protectors and rotted up through?

no pics at the moment mate..its a crack thats started on the inner wing and made its way to the turret if that makes sense.

Standard breakage place on hard driven mk1 shells, my mk1 2.1gl split the inner wings from above the chassis rail upwards, then split the welds a few years later, I cured it by bracing between the turret and the inner wing, just a little boxing in did wonders.
As for a decent repair either new/pattern or make your own pieces.
