quick question abs light!

Default quick question abs light!

well basically my abs light has been on since i bought my car when i was washing the car the other day i noticed a wire hanging down behing my rear wheel when i looked i think its the wire that comes off the abs sensor its been hanging and rubbing against my tyre its damaged would that make my light come on? and if so whats the best way to go about sorting that cheers

if its the same as the s2 turbo, the wire what hanging of goes into the abs modular thing, thats what keeps the light of, so if its hanging then the light will come on
that didnt really answer your question tho lol

Yes it will put the abs light on, no doubt can get a new connector to put on, or change both male/female parts of the connector if need be.

the abs sensor wire by the rear wheel is quite thick and fairly rigid, they dont tend to hang as such, but do clip onto the wishbone, so the clips may have come off. They are a co ax wire like satellite cable, its would be easier to just replace the sensor, just go to a scrappie and find a mk3 granada they use the same sensors. The connector is under the back seat and they attach to the hub with a 10mm bolt

ok mate yeah the clips must of fell off as it was cable tied but not verygood
