Default Rouse Rear Spoiler

Well after one of those jobs where you say "if it aint broke don't try and fix it" here is my replacement boot lid and xsport racing Rouse rear spoiler painted and ready to fit

I had a real mare trying to get the old standard boot spoiler off and when I did with the help of a pal of mine there was a fifty pence sized hole under the centre pillar that boot lid promptly got put in the bin

can't wait to fit these items to the car and see the finished job

Yes and no the only difference between a normal saph and cossie saph boot lid is on the underside where the holes were drilled for the spoiler bolts cossie bootlids were lined with a sort of deadning patch, other than that its the same boot lid

The boot lid in my picture came off a sky blue 2.0i ghia saph from a breaker local to me, it had no spoiler on it which meant no holes and no rust

cossie bootlid is nla from ford but cost mega dough when it was, Ł300 which is a Ł100 more than the bonnet

Looks well nice, just a pity that ford didn't use a more manly spoiler for better downforce in the first place, I've always thought about tilting mine slightly, but want to add some chavy brake lights into it!!

I am soon converting the rear brake lights to led so I can strobe them on braking, along with the two behind the rear head restraints, got some adjustable brake units, can alter duration and speed of the strobe effect of extra brake lights, std ones need to remain as they are for legal reasons, I have my fog brake light mod on mine, adn it's the fogs that are strobing inconjunction with the head restraint ones.
Jesus I'm getting like a chav, neons next then!!
