lamda sensor position ???????

Default lamda sensor position ???????

got the full exhaust off the saff at the min and going to get a lamda sensor boss welded in the downpipe but not 100% sure where abouts it should be positioned cos dont want to go too far down in case it catches on the bulk head

on the stack one it says about 4 inch from the turbo

Mines about 4 inches down from the turbo , was installed by MSD for closed loop so it must be right .

So long as it's not hanging down where moisture(inside exhaust) can affect it, it will be fine, NTK state a minimum of I think 20" from turbo so as to help preserve the life of them.

thanks folks 4"s is good enough for me not going to have sensor in permanently just for future use
will be blanked off for now
