Cosworth help??

Engine is alright for power its the transmission that lets its down mate. Different people have different experiences with them 350 bhp is usually the safe limit for the box. And if turbo is standard T3 be good for about 300bhp.

If you are wanting a reliable transmission the gear kit for the box (quaife) cost 3 grand plus the vodka and tonic, front and rear diffs is going to come to another couple of grand and to finish the job off you'll be wanting the centre diff too(uprated viscous coupling) not sure on the cost of that unit
Even with all these uprated components a little tlc is required with the 4x4, I was running 330bhp and I treat my car with respect and it went through 2 boxes, I'm now running 420 bhp and still have a standard box although I'm taking it easy with car but I'm itching for a big tooth kit myself, I can then turn the boost up a bit more and should make around 450
I have a front diff strengthening plate and standard diffs, strengthening plate is a cool cheap little mod standard diffs are ok if you are not launching the car all the time
