An easy way would be to fit an induction cone filter, that way you could do away with the airbox.

EDIT: If the actual plenums in the way don't know if it will be that easy to get around.

its not the filter box im having the problem with its the actual air inlet plenum that bolts the the side of the head. the problem is that it is to tall to fit a strut brace over. thanks any way mate

i think ever 1 is getting the wrong idea hear.. my problem is the actual air inlet that the throttle body bolts onto which bolts to the side of the head. not the induction kit. just fort i would try to make that a lil clearer

get some pics up. but buy one for a sierra and cut it and weld it so it fits. on my 24v the strut brace hits the plenum so im just making one to fit atm.

you can get a brace, but it's bent so far around it dones't really do any stiffening

my home made brace slotted through the inlet manifold and was, to all intents and purpouses, straight

i would have ahad a pic of it, but it's now littering beefy's workshop floor, along with the rest of the seirra

lets just say it was string enough to hold up everything once the crossmember and suspension was dropped, and now one could figure out what was stopping it from dropping
