Default 1992 Sapphire 4x4 Alloys - offset and pcd query ?

Hi All,
Probably been asked this a million times but will only a particular offset alloy fit properly onto my 92 Saff 4x4 ? So many people say different things, I'm a bit confused !!

I have seen some secondhand alloys with an et35 or 38 or even 40 and just wonder if anyone knows if these will fit ? Does the higher the number mean they will stick-out further or something ? And will a 4x100 or 4x108 pcd be okay or not ?
Any help or advice greatly appreciated !

Regards,

Dennis.

you need 4x108pcd. the HIGHER the -ET no, the further IN they stick. ET40 on a saff is a bit crap TBH. What size wheels are you going to fit?

As above, if you remember that ET stands for einspritz tief, in english this means insertion depth, it's easy to remember.
