Default Burst CV Joint boot

I've a problem with my front inner cv joint boot at the diff side.
2 months back i discovered it was busrt badly, so ordered a new one from Ford and replaced it.
Drove the car for some day and checked it and everything was ok, now i changed the wheels for winter i saw there's a lot of grease on the underside so checked it again and now it's burst all the way round
What can cause this as everything seems normal under the car and i really have no clue as in 6,5 years it never happened

Here's a picture, not the best

Thanks in advance

did you secure it properly?
they have been known to have a nabit of splitting if one side isn't secured

you also need to lubricate the inside of the new one to make sure it's supple ebfore you fit it, maybe it's just been sat in it's box for too long

Have you checked your engine mounts mate this happened to my bros kept killing boots and it was the mounts they looked ok but when we lifted the engine to check they were split in half.

(we only found out after he tried to do a doughnut in the wet and his driveshaft exploded ha ha)

Engine mounts are brand new and heavy duty from Reyland as the other side kept coming of

All still in place as you can see in the pic and inside was lubricated so

Just kidding mate, have you thought maybe the car is too low? This way the angle of the driveshaft can be in such way that the hose gets too much friction. Just a thougth..

the boot has just probably cracked due to age
weather that be while in storage or being on the car

Hi Wim, how you're doing mate?
I always have green at the light so
Car is barely lowered at the front so don't think that's the problem

Hope so, the other was ripped or cut by a stone or something and this one is complete burst so i think they don't relate to eachother

Ronnie mentioned on the Sierra forum that it could come by a knackered cv joint so checking that also

Maybe it's just bad luck

Hey,

have also seen those when there is too much grease in there. But I think them boots came with a tube of grease that is the right amount to fill in... well, so came with mine

Hi, didnt see you at Landgraaf. Was carrying 2 helmets in my car like I promised you. Due to that extra weight I got 'only' third place at the sprints..
