Power through standard equipment. Also abs help.
What sort of power can you go up to with standard header tanks etc as i'm looking to do a big overhal and fit a modified 200 blocked engine in my 3 door that i have had for 2 years but want to keep the look of the engine bay standard as poss just clean and powerfull with suttle touch's like tubular manifold and 8 injectors etc.
What do i need to do to fit a 4x4 header tank will the water level senor missing cause any probs?
Also my abs loom had an unfortuate runin with my turbo so need changing, would anyone know if the abs setup ie loom and pump etc is the same as a 4x4 as i have one left from my saff.

The standard expansion tanks, are irrelevant as far as power goes, the water pressure does not increase, unless you blow the HG of course!!
The 4wd tank is still available from ford around £30, as I have one, the trouble is the turbo return pipe has now changed from around 11mm to around 18mm, so obviously the pipe won't now fit on the tank.
You can get a(expensive) silicone pipe that overcomes this problem having the correct fitting 2wd turbo pipe at turbo end and the 4wd size at the tank end.
My being a cheap skate, machined a alloy adaptor to go between with the relevant pipe sizes on it, I'm now making a slightly longer one so that turbo return water temp can be measured, to see exactly how much difference turbo coolers make.
The loss of a level sensor will cause no problem, but need to check the level every so often, should not rely on a gauge to tell you anyway, if you can physically check yourself.
This is assuming you want to keep a ford ex tank, I do so the level can be seen easy.
