Saff boot wires (I'm lazy)
I'm on a mad bodywork and welding kick right now and took the left and right side wiring off the bootlid to sand it down.
Left side was for the lock/open switch. The right side was blanked off with 3 leads. There is no light in the bootlid, no power release. WTH is this 3 wire loom for then?
(Yes, I'm too lazy to trace it, seems a simple answer)

Doubt it's the heated rear screen since the wires are actually in the boot lid. But mercury switch seems right tabetha, amazed I didn't think of it myself.
