problem is most battery manufacturers do not do the square terminals any more including ford, you can get an adapter kit but its shite

I have just replaced my battery with a yuasa jobbie,

Varta blue, is about the best for the money for a heavy duty jobbie, 095, this is the biggest that will fit in the std tray, much more performance than std.
I got mine for £50 cash as was old stock, there are currently!!, only two makers of ford type terminals, as even ford started using round post in 91.
If you do have to get a round post one, very cheap and easy to swap the lead ends around so they fit the round posts, should not cost much more than £10 done.
Batteries vary a lot depending on what you want, ie normal lead acid, calcium/lead, or calcium/calcium, or AGM, the AGM have the best performance by a mile but can cost up to £200!!
