3 door electrical gremlin
My 1987 3 door has an annoying electrical fault which has persisted even after a change of ecu and chip!
When driving, the door ajar display lights up together with the warning lights above it as when the ignition is switched on, then all goes off (apart from the brake light display) after three or four seconds. It doesn't effect the running of the car but can happen four or five times during an hours drive!
Any suggestions how to cure this fault greatly appreciated.

20K+ Super Poster.
There is a massive warning light module on the os kick panel, or is this the ecu you are reffering to ?.
Often these can be helped by running a seperate earth to them, but they are basically crap anyway.
Got one for sale though if interested, from a 3 door.

He may well sell the glass also, as plexi glass cheap and super duper lightweight, and 30 year warranty against yellowing, got this stuff on me lads shed!!
