Default Transmission question..

Hi, I have to change my box(saff 4x4) cos it makes some weird sounds. Now I have a box off an Escos here and would like to know if it is a straight swap or are there some kind of diferences??

thanks a lot!

the box is a straight fit but as far as i,m aware the coupling where the rear prop shaft connects to the box may be slightly different than the 4x4 saph, i think you can swap them over or use the escort complete shaft.

All you need is the front part of the rear prop and donut. You either have male or female front parts. The early sapphs had males with a large donut, the late sapphs and escort cosworths had females with a thinner donut.
