evening all,
im gona try and swop my rear shock's over tomorrow, can anyone tell me how hard/easy it is to do? and roughly what tool's ill need as iv only got a draper socket set pretty much lol
it look's like it could be quite a task to get the spring's out aswel, am i right in thinking this?
any advise would be awesome

just started doing it, but the rear arm bit's dont seem to wana go down enough for me to pull the spring out, look's like i need to pull the drive shaft out??

2WD? If you need to get the springs out I think the best way is to take out the four bolts that hold the diff mount in, then you can pull the diff down. With the diff hanging, wheel hanging and bottom of the shock loose you should be able to lever the spring out.

The std springs can be got out by pressing arm down with foot after taking shock off, then a long pry bar underneath and wiggle out the spring, watch the fingers though.
Easiest way to do rear shocks is fold seat down for top mounts and o from inside car leaning through, I use a ratchet spanner and a normal one quite easy then, support car on blocks etc, one side at a time if using horrible axle stands, then as said just undo bolt, Shorter springs go in dead easy without tools.
