Petemos I think your bush is upside down and the large gaps look like the long bolt isn't done up tight. Here's a pic of the Ford bush next to a poly bush - both are the right way up. You could take the bush out and check it's the right way up.

Your pipe sticks out an inch? That sounds like a lot. The poly ones, and the alloy ones go straight on with no modification.
The poly ones compress as you tighten the beam mount bolt.
Is your 'pipe' sticking out by the same amount on both sides? If it's lower on one side than the other try knocking it back up into the chassis maybe.
Remember that the force on this mount is all lateral rather than up and down.
Here's a couple of in progress pics:

I got the same kit as Andypen, i just done every single bush on mine the other day I got pics but only the same as Andypen`s. The one at the top is a handling kit keeps things tight, there is normally a gap there anyway just that the bushes on your car are 100% upside down probly due to them being a proper pain to fit but the new orange ones only take about 10mins with some greese and a spare spocket the size of the bush in a vice, just press them in.. then pops into place.. Done! (note this was done with the beam off the car) as your ones are upside down anyway might just fall out, you will need to put the car on axel stands so you can drop the front section of the beam 19mm socket for the long bolt and 17mm socket for the 2 smaller ones, just put the new ones up with some greese and put a jack under the weight of the car will press the new ones in.. might need a flat scewdriver just to get the lip over at the top all round, check it all after completed !
ebay item no for rear set : 370138152744 or give flo-flex an email if u just want seporate parts
failing that, get the solid mount ones just put them in place

The GGR kit from memory is two pieces of nylon, one piece at the top side of std bush, the other at the bottom between the bush and the bracket.
The kit is designed to stop upward/downward movement of the beam relative to the body, as this alters the suspension angles, with the diff point being fixed by another crappy bush that allows the whole beam to act as though suspended on elastic bands.
I have used the GGR kit, with std ford bushes on a few sierras, and still rate it better than poly.

Thanks for the info there tab. I have the polys backed up by the gen 909 diff mount so fingers crossed for a good ride and better handling than the somewhat worn standard stuff!
