Default Weigh me a Lattice wheel!

Has anybody got a 15" Sapphire Lattice wheel without a tyre on it? And a set of bathroom scales? And fancies doing me a favour please and weighing one wheel? Kilos if possible.

Or does anybody know the weight of a lattice Sapphire alloy? Thanks.

And another thing, does anybody know what wheel nuts I should use with long wheel studs and original Lattice alloys. I was planning on ordering some M12 nuts with decent washers and just using these. Are there suitable nuts out there or will these be OK?

some mk3 mondeos use a capless alloy wheel nut that would be suitable for long studs

Checked and answered my own question. No. Taper. Thanks.

Whoops - just remembered to do this!

7x15 Ford Lattice = 9.0 kg according to my Salter scales ( 0.2kg tolerance )

Nice one, thanks. I see that a Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 15" 7J rim is 6.1kg so that's not too bad for an original Ford wheel. Thanks for doing that Mike.

No probs Charlie - I must admit I forgot all about it until I was scanning the forum yesterday

I don't know if my scales are exactly accurate but hopefully roughly right. I know Compomotives are quite light for their size and strength as well
