Trigger wheel question
Anyone tested this trigger wheel on their aftermarked ECU`s yet?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...%3DI%26otn%3D1
Im a little worried about the size of the teeth, they are to small (width and length) according to the autronic sm4 manual (using autronic hall sensor)...havent tested it myself yet!
Frustrating to install the whole lot just to take it off again,...

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the teeth on that trigger wheel, will work perfect, have seen a lot thinner work perfect, not on autronic, but really can't see that would be a problem on any ecu.

I would recomend you get the trigger wheel locked in to place so the timing wheel doesnt move. Other than that it looks like a nice part.

I just machined down my pulley and then welded the trigger wheel on using a cast rod.
Luckily,(though I like to think skillfully) was only 1.8 degrees out of exact 90BTDC, so good but ecu copes with up to 35 degrees each way of 90btdc anyway.
I used a 5.25" triiger on a 2wd cossie if that's any help, didn't even need to move the pick up.
