From what I can see the top one is correct but the bottom one aint mate.

And boy it is a fair bit of gunk to contemplate - good luck on that!!

Think the bottom one is a Saph item. It matches the one I have just taken off my 2WD.

cheeRS fellas thought so,the top one is drivers side and vice versa (not that it makes any difference)

anyone got a engine mount spare (passenger side)?

the gunk,oh yes better get to it with some truckwash

how come they are diiference resistances tho?

Do you not think that someone has swapped one for a Saph item? Maybe one perished?

char1ie-yes mate i do think one has been replaced, its just that the have different resistances, and will this have an detremental effect ?

ray2drax-yup one is a lot cleaner than the other, but so is that side if the engine bat (not alot like!)

also on what appears to be the 3dr mount there is a locating pin or summat that fits the alloy mountlng arm

There should be a metal cover on each side on a sapph, as each ones PIN goes through the engine mount arm each side.
I am sure 3 door are same as well, the bottom piccie isn't cossie I'd say, would also explain the different resistance too.

I think the force of the engine tries to rotate the engine against the mounts, so the resistance of the mounts will be the combined strength of both mounts so it doesn't matter if you have a matched pair, or one with more give than the other.

If I were you I would just buy a new pair (the Ebay link above) or go for an uprated pair in alloy. I have just bought a pair second hand and fitted them but I haven't driven it yet so can't report on the difference it makes.

Good luck with all the cleaning!

Is the mount in the second picture upside down.

I have a pair in the garage and they are differant heights!!!!!!! the only differance im aware of is the colour markings.

I would definatley go for uprated ones mate as I had a standard one break on boost of my escos and cause the engine to hit the bonnet and dent it

I bought mine from Reyland and I'm pretty sure they are the same as the Collins ones. As for vibrations I haven't noticed any real difference to be honest

thats what i thought but the studs are longer on the top than on the bottom,so if one is upside down its stud would be short at the top!!!

took some some pics just in case

I would say thats upside down, they should have the metal cover at the top and the top should have a little locating peg and stud visible.
