No,
One of the pipes on the base should be a very long tube going all the way in and stopping at about 1/2" to 1" short of the top, this is the actual breather, I would run it straight into the block, not the kidney box, any OIL return needs to be at oil level or below, a lot use a adapted sump plug for this, otherwise it will pressurise as the other breathers.

Thats the standard as per the Bailey diagram Tabs??? There is also a big pipe off the lower fixing so that any mist gets blown out below the car and not directly into the engine bay.

those on the pics are right... the other one of those two upper pipes goes to the valve cover and the big one is getting a fat hose that route the gasses down on the street...

As I said it was a guess as I did not know how it was inside the "pot", that's certainly not the way I would do it, and sorry mentioning that baileys say so and so does nothing for me.
It's your car you do what you want, I won't be offended and it makes no difference to me whatsoever.

Its the way the pot is set up as you say Tabs - Bailey's ones have a central cylinder welded at the base inside the pot that vents to the outside. That way all the gasses escape over the top of the inner cylinder but the oil itself gets trapped between the inner and outer cylinders... then runs back into the block.

My Ford one is like the Ford diagram and is set up slightly more basically, it simply vents out of the top.

The one in the pics looks like the Bailey set up but I am happy to be proven wrong???

It is a bailey one, thanks all for your input.
I appreciate all, and its nice to get different opinions, so thanks Tabetha.
So i pressume the bigger pipe at the bottom of the breather tank (the one for the breather to atmosphere) goes up into the tank abit?
I did wont how it would work if it was flush, as the oil woul dtry and run out of that rather than down the return!

looks right to me , i have a baileys one and it was fitted like yours is . It was fitted by Rusty at Union garage so i imagine its right . The big outlet that goes straight down at the bottom is the atmosphere vent pipe so its spot on how you have it .
