finally bought me a Sapph
Got an 88 2wd white sapphire today. Somewhat disassembled. 205 block, mt75 box, head small escort turbo. It's a but if a hodge podge of parts but it will be as close to stock once I'm done with it. Car is totally standard with a 4x4 hood, blue cloth interior etc. Really it just needs the motor and trans put in.
Looking forward to the build since no custom work is involved like I usually do, it's just clean and fix. Sadly though I'll need to source a lot of little bits such as the front light wipers, jack plate covers ecu etc.
My plan is stock body and uprated suspension. Compmotives with a stage II tune with anti lag. Stock appearing with some ooomph.
And it's left hand drive, suits me since we driv on the right. Stoked. Should compliment my 3 door Merkur nicely.
