Sourcing race springs
I'm planning on sending a front and rear spring from my 2WD Sapphire to Coil Spring in Sheffield. They will manufacture a new set for me at the rate that I require - 500ft/lbs front 700 rear. I also want to raise the car by half an inch all round and they will make the springs to the exact length. For this they charge £200ish.

Any other suggestions that may be cheaper? I'm not running coilovers btw.

Not sure about cheaper options. Maybe Gaz could make them to size?
Rainbird will know someone.
I used Coilsprings for a set of springs for my budget tracktoy. Good company.

Charlie,
Are you on coil overs or normal springs? £200 sounds a little expensive for coil over springs but decent for bespoke springs...
Eibach springs should be readily available off the shelf from good suppliers at common ratings.....
Your calcs are wrong i'd say though pal, you'll need the harder springs on the front and 500 rears might be rather hard to start with....

Do you race? Use your car on track? What spring rates do you use?
This is for a race car that never travels on the road.

Charlie ,
the world is awash with 2 & 1/4 race springs , do yourself a favour and buy some decent coilover dampers or you'll be buying expensive Bespoke springs every few weeks !
The rear is easy , weld a pair of short coilover bodies to the chassis in the std position and run short springs ,works great .
