idle speed valve??
I own a sierra cossie 4x4,and i have problem with idle speed. The problem began when my speed pedal cable broke.I put a new one ,and after that the rpm is not stable...when i start the engine the rpm goes at 550-700,when i press the pedal just a little the rpm start rising and settle at 1100,when the fan starts rpm goes down to 550..I disconect the iscv, and the rpm drops down to 500-i turned the screw to increase, but when i connect the iscv the rpm goes to 1100.Is it wrong the iscv, tps?I dont understand how its possible without touch anything, but only when i changed the f..cable (from pedal to throtle),starts all these problems with the rpm....if i changed the tps-what is the procedure to adjust?

If the car didn't have these problems before you fitted the new cable then I would suggest that the new cable you fitted is trapped somewhere causing the inner cable to stick.
Make sure of this before you start adjusting things.
