Check Fast Ford, Performance Ford in the back pages, adverts there for decent insurers.

Ach its a fookin scam. 450 my arse

After u get the quote it tells u to follow the link to the site to finalise the quote, then they tell u its loooads more.

HIC were the next best with about 800 quid. I think il have to go for that, but be warned of the confused.com scam.

The unfortunate truth is that the only way to get cheap insurance is to get older, We all have to go through it and i was paying high premiums for years because of some stupid mistakes i made when i was younger. Now at 34 i pay £435 FC for a 4x4 saf cos with an agreed value of £6500 , and £116 tpft on a cavalier gsi i use for work, Both policies are full no claims.

Your not joking mate, they're foooookin terrible for rust , like all vauxhalls but the redtop 16v is a cracking engine and loves to be abused, there's not many 2.0 litre 16v normally aspirated motors that will redline in fifth but the redtop will and quite happily too. Considering that you can pick up a perfectly useable cav gsi for around the £500 mark mot'd and taxed they are perfect as a daily runaround while the cossie is garaged up for the winter

I'm 23 with 1 year ncb and three points. Live in a high risk area. I'm paying £1300 which is the best i could find (adrian flux). I was well chuffed with this quote, it was nearly a grand cheaper than the quote from HIC.
