Default blown fuse

whats the first thing to check for my saph blowing the fuse for the central locking/interior light

I fcuking hate electrical problems been working on it all day getting it ready for the respray on saturday

Almost defo central locking doing it, unless a trapped wire on interior light circuit.
Have to disconnect everything, then reconnect one at a time to see which one pops fuse.

could well be a broken wire on the door shut loom, quite common, try opening all the doors ,and push the latches over with a screwdriver so the car can be locked ,and see if it still does it, the doors being open may move the loom enough to stop it shorting out, then as said disconnect them one at a time to find which one

or an interior light wire trapped somewhere? footwell light?

Sorted (well sort of) its the interior light just got to trace it back now
