Any experts with abs pumps/wiring ?
Looking for some help with a bit of an problem ive had ,since i bought the car ive had a problem with the brakes , basically they were fine , then if i pressed a bit harder on them , the pedal would just go hard , but it would stop me if i pressed downm on them with some force
Now the problem i have is on the abs pump when i connect the plug connector that goes onto the pressure switch , it will blow a 30amp fuse thats located dowm above my pedals
Changed the pressure switch and its sill doing it
Now on the bottom of pump theres a 2 core plug connector , red-brown ? what exactly does this do ? and further up next to the pressure switch theres another smaller plug connecter, think its just above it , whats exatly does his do ? and also i think i know the purpose of the pressure switch , but as i say cant connect this or i blow a fuse
Nooow lol stripped all the tape off the loom, that these wires run through and some are tapped up as if something happened to them at some point ? but th dont look as if they could have been earthing out or anything , pretty well tapped up
Any advice or help ould be appreciated , as this is doing my head right in at the moment , or even some pointers on any fault finding with my multimeter , really dont know where to start
Thanks for looking
