Default Anybody running RS7's with 215/40/17's/Koni's/35mm lowered?

Basically I am on my 4x4 Saff and occassionally get a strange knocking sound usually from the right front wheel/suspension. Usually it does it round left turns regardless of speed and sometimes whilst turning and going over small bumps in the road.

I've had a good look round it and spoken to a few people who know their RS's and basically have drawn a blank. I therefore wondered if anybody has the same/similar set ups and any problems you may have had.

I'm now wondering if 35mm is too low??

Any ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Paul

No, just a really light knocking, similar to that of tapping your pen on a table. Definately cannot feel anything through the floor, wheels etc. It makes no difference to the drive or feel of the car, and has only done it since the new wheels were fitted!!

Originally when I put the wheels on, the tyres were catching the arches over bumps, but I had the arches rolled and it stopped. But this knocking is still there!

Have you tried it with standard wheels to see if it makes the noise.
May be wheels scrubbing on inside as struts will be close.

I sold the standard wheels

Good idea though. I'll see if I can borrow a set for a day or two to test your theory. I'm pretty sure it didn't before I put the wheels on as the suspension and lowering was done a few weeks before the wheels went on.

Thanks
