Default Piston rings melted in to the piston!!

Hi

I'm building up my rebuild 205 engine because the piston rings melted in to the pistons on 3&4th cilinder.

I think it was runing to lean.

I have a 2wd. saph with 803', t3, 3 bar map, 3inch exhaust and a 330 chip.
and running on 22ps1

Does anyone have a idea why this happend??

Melted pistons usually occour when the engine has run lean. I'd advise you get it checked when it's back together.

As you're spending money on an engine rebuild, also chuck some cash in the direction of a new fuel filter, check the condition of the fuel pump and its wiring, the condition of the fuel lines, and get the car set up properly afterwards.
