Default rough idle, flooded engine 2wd cossie

Hi, thought I would post about my sisters cossie, it wont always start mostly when hot, it floods the bores with fuel, eventually clears if turned over for minutes at a time, also it idles roughly, sometimes revs itself to thousands of RPM, cant tell how much as counter is bust, then it struggles and nearly cuts out, its a danger to drive her kids round in it, any ideas on the cause?

had similar prop. siezed idle valve, causing engine to rev to 2,000rpm on idle(when engine hot)and nearly cut out when taking off and going through rev range. my saff (4x4) got set up on PE rollers and was sorted .10,03 cheers TARZ
