I too have had slight issues with Comp Brake's service, but never their quality/performance -
They supplied wrong Compression struts (for a different Ford model)
Their front and rear brakes needed 'adjustment' to fit
HOWEVER - Thier kit works EXTREMELY WELL, is inexpensive, and well made.
And one other thing - TONY (NUTS RuS) is the most reliable sound geezers I've met, and having bought other items off him I trust him and his customer service 100%.
Tony - Stick me down for a 4x4 Set please
One thing though - On cheapo standard TCAs me/my car tends to munch bottom ball joints for a pass time (one side lasted 3 months )- are these good quality TCAs? Don't want to have to replace them if the ball joint fails easily...

Ball joints can easily be replaced either well before, or if they fail Si. All you need is a press. The arm itself will not fail so at that price it is a good investment.

I have seen your comments before.... thats why we have a middleman for this group buy. As well as saving you money I can check all the parts and make sure the correct one are being sent out and within the timescales arranged. If you get bad service from me by all means kick my arse.... I can then pass that kick directly onto my mate if needed

Thanks Tony - wasn't aware of that (the cheapo ones have always been disposable to me!) but am reassured by what you have said.
I need them as soon as they are ready - do you want the money moving over now (still have your details from last transfer)?
Thanking you ta

yeah the ball joint is a thread item, rather than the pinch bolt style on 2wd items.
i have a pair of 3dr TCA's well 2 pairs actually, but would you be able to replace the ball joint aswell?
as thats the bit that wears.
Thanks
Ryan

The threaded ones are in stock.
Some of the 3 door models Steve has already supplied have had the pinch bolt type fitted.
The most common configuration is the nut type on 2wd cars, and pinch bolt on the 4x4 and 3dr cars.
The ball joint simply pushes out in a press and can be replaced yes.

Future adjustability, if you change suspension.
Decide to do track days and want to be able to play with the setup, effect turn in, under/over steer characteristics. Or want to optimise car setup for the road.
Or just brag to your mates down the pub about your adj TCAs
Tidy piece of kit and the inner TCA end is rose jointed, which in itself should sharpen steering response.

It helps if we know what you use your car for
If its a show car they won't do much, however if it gets 'used' then they can be a very good asset.
Dave No Probs mate - it was about 10-30 last night so I didn't knock

I am interested. but the price conversion might kill me. not to mention my car is just a regular 2.0i not the cosworth.
would shipping to germany or the US be possible?
I will try and keep my eye on this thread.
if these are infact the same as a regular 2.0i I might be able to get a load of them interested in the states. thus adding to the list.

Do these TCA's allow for camber adjustment + and - from stock? Reason I ask is that all of the ones I've seen previously only provide for more negative camber, not less.
Can you ship to the States, New York in particular? Total cost?

On lowered street cars, there's sometimes too much negative camber. I had this problem - on one side I had negative 2.7 degrees, and the inner tire wear showed the result of that. Any idea what sort of adjustment range is typically provided by these arms (in camber degrees)?
#80
Typically upto 5º negative can be added, but most cars usually only require upto -3½º adding.
Specials can be produced in a similar manner for +ive camber within 1 week if you needed them at no extra cost. Shipping to USA via Courier would generally add aroung £45 - £50
