Default Breaking E1.6 RST! I Want To Sell, Make Offers

This is the end of one the fastest 1.6 CVH RS Turbos ever. A great deal of time and money went into making this car so all the parts are top quality and 90% of it was bought in 2004 or later. All parts were genuine Ford or better with no cheap pattern parts being used. Have a look at the restoration thread to see exactly what has gone into the car.

https://passionford.com/forum/restor...page-62-a.html

I have now broken the car. ALL parts are off and what is left is ready to be sold.

PLEASE NOTE - The shell is sold. I sold it complete. So no more emails and PM's about doors and sunroofs etc.

MUST ADD - I would prefer you to collect your parts, but I can ship out some stuff within reason at extra cost on top of prices below, unless otherwise stated. Payment through PayPal ONLY if you cover the fees, otherwise bank transfer, personal cheque or cash. Nothing is sold until I have had payment or deposit.

Email me at thetone69@ntlworld.com with the part in the subject for a much faster response than you will get from a PM. This helps me keep track as I have a lot of bits to handle.

GT28RS TURBO

Genuine Garrett Turbo which have been built into a T3 flange with a V- Band quick release exhaust end. Having the T3 flange means it will bolt on to any T3 style manifold. This turbo cost me well over £1200 and has covered only 3000 miles. Selling with the exhaust manifold which has been ceramic coated and selling with the actuator.

£800

SAMCO BOOST HOSES

£50

MONGOOSE EXHAUST,

3 inch bore with a 4 inch rolled out tail pipe. In very good condition, comes with clamps, power flex mounts etc. Modified with a flexi joint and V band style downpipe. A V band to standard 4 bolt adapter can be bought from America if you need it for around £40.

£300

Obviously this was made to work with my GT28 turbo, if you want the turbo and the exhaust together we can work a deal out to make a really good "bolt on" package.

K&N GrpA Air filter with powder coated trumpet

£50

DEFI BF Gauges

These are the 1st generation BF gauges which are sort after and better looking than the ones Defi make now. They come with the gauge, wiring and sensor, no cups or feet. These can be bought for next to nothing through a Defi dealer should you require them.

Water Temp - £120
Oil Temp - £120
Boost - SOLD
Oil Pressure - SOLD
Fuel Pressure - SOLD
EGT - £160

Control ECU mk2 - SOLD
Warning light - £30

1600 CVH Engine

Engine spec is a low compression 1600 CVH with Farndon steel rods and Ross Racing pistions. No expense was spared and no corners have been cut in building this engine and has been bullet proof! Everything was bought new 11,000 miles ago, including new pumps, seals, bolts, sensors etc. Comes with the Cam sensor and mounting bracket which has never been used. The crank was sourced from a CVH that had done a mear 14,000 miles so it had as much original material on and needed minimal machining. The block was converted to EFi for me and had a fortune spent using all genuine Ford parts where ever possible, making it what it is today. The sump is genuine Ford and was bought new along with the rest of the parts. APT modified the sump with a baffle plate and a modified oil pick up. The engine always made good high oil pressure at around 2 bar @ idle at working temp. Which is bloody good for a CVH.

The head was a standard MFi which has been fully ported and polished with bigger top quality valves. The cam is a Newman cam which has done 3,000 miles, with solid lifters and double valve springs. Everything was speced and built by APT and it is equivilent specification to Christians old Top Speed engine. Obviously this engine is proven and no slug as I have done 161.2mph and kicked out 330bhp with it. This engine is capable of a lot more with the right bits. I am asking only £1200 for this engine and when you consider that it cost me more than that in machining alone then it is a bit of a bargain.

Everything you see in the photos on the trolley is what you get.

£1200 - prov SOLD

GEARBOX

The gearbox started life as a CTS Bernie stg2 box with a Quaife ATB diff. APT later fitted an oil drain bung into the casing. Then I had it stripped down a couple years ago and had the gears and shafts cryogenically frozen by one firm and then shot peened by another for maximum strength. Re-assembled and went into the car in September with NEW bearings and clutch fork and has done 500 testing miles.

£1200 - Prov SOLD

COPPER CORE Radiator and twin Spal HD Fans

This is original Ford end tanks welded on a high grade copper core. Copper is a far better material to use than alloy. Why do plumbers use expensive copper piping? I have done 2000 miles with the radiator and it is in great condition. One of the original brackets broke but was glued on using a high strength epoxy resin and hasn't broken off while the radiator has been in use. Will come with the top mounts than rest in the slam panel.

£150

E16 RST Number Plate

Currently on retention. Has to be the best number plate for a 1600 RS Turbo.

£800

Genuine Recaro/ Ford Foam Bolster

Brand New - £25 delivered

Rear Light Seal

Brand new - £12 delivered

Open to sensible offers on all parts. You never know what I'll let bits go for so MAKE AN OFFER - Thank you

Mine is better than a CTS, you can have it in a couple of weeks and it's had an extra treatment and it's almost half the price lol.

There may be a bit of a give in the prices.

Really? That sounds awfully generous of me lol. Well I sold the speaker pods for £50 and I see you can get unflocked (is that even a word? Lol) sills for £20 I want to sell of course but don't want to give them away. If you still want them, make a counter offer. Let's dance lol
