PTFE Stainless Steel Braided Fuel Lines - Prov Sold
I had these lines made up for my RS with the intention of running them through the car but I never got around to fitting them. What we have is:
PTFE lined stainless steel braided hose [both supply and return], -6 size. The PTFE lining is required to run the hoses through the car to avoid the fuel vapour smell! They could also be run under the car if you wanted to.
The supply is stainless from metering unit to pump, the return is stainless from metering unit almost to the tank where a short section of petrol resistant rubber hose is used to connect to the standard tank fitting.
Included – PTFE hose [supply and return, I can measure the length if required], MFi metering unit fittings, 4No. bulkhead fittings [loose], fuel pump fitting [loose], stainless hose to rubber hose connector [loose], 1m rubber hose, rubber hose to tank connector, a number of rubber covered stainless ‘P’ clips for securing the hose.
The hoses currently have just the metering unit end fittings fitted as I was planning on measuring up the hoses on the car for the bulkhead fittings and the fuel tank/pump fittings, then take them to any local hydraulic hose fitting company to have the rest of the supplied fittings fitted to the hose [basically they cut the hose then use a hydraulic press to crimp the fittings into place]. I reckon this would cost you £10-£20.
The fittings are currently for the MFi metering unit but these could easily be swapped for others [Etc….] if required by a local hydraulic hose manufacturing company [E.G. Pirtec]
They cost £120 to have made up……They are brand new and unused, never fitted.
I’ll get some pictures up tomorrow

I believe so [but I'm not 100% sure], I believe its Goodridge braided PTFE hose. You could just get rid of the old fittings and replace with new Aero-Quip.
I can measure the length I have at the weekend if you like?
