Ford genuine heat shield to fit 3 door cosworth, brand new never been opened, still in original wrapping, after £150 posted

I didn’t think there were still available from fords???

 

Yeah they done a rerun of them early last year, though concourse boys snapped most of Ben up.

I bought one in error for my 4x4 not realising there different so I sold it on (£65) wish I kept it now

From what I can remember i'm sure I paid around £100 for it?
But like already mentioned as far as I was aware Ford had stopped doing them?

from what i can see from the pics, that heat sheild is for a 2wd saff, if that was for a 3rd it would be worth alot more imo.

 

3dr cosworth and Sapphire were different - 3dr isn't available so this is an absolute steal at the money as you just can't get them anymore

.......Edit just noticed it's a Sapphire one sorry.......

 

The above heat shield will suit a 2wd sapphire cosworth. I am not sure if it will fit a 3dr.

 

they do fit you just need to swap one of the brackets from your old 3dr one, as i fitted one of these about 3 years ago

All i know is I went to Ford and asked for a 3dr heatsheild and at the time this is what they sold me???

Same as the header tanks, they list for the 3dr but they will bring you a 4x4 tank so they just use the later stuff - still fit's not gen 3dr though, again these will still be worth good money as i'm sure the ford supply will soon run out.

 

I fitted one of these to my 3 door in about 1995 the original 3 door one without the cover over turbo was unavailable then. These were service replacements from ford. Like above the one bracket needs taking off the original one to get the best fit.

 

How much will you take for it?

 

Correct , or you can re cover the one on your car for £40 .

Id give £50 for it max
