Engine was built by SCS (01733 576 614 - Harvey Gibbs) as one of their renown 400+ Horse Power engine conversions. It was built using a new 200 block & live Mapped on the engine dyno by Ahmed Bajoo. (If you wish to speak with Harvey ask about Jason Brown's mallard green Escort Cosworth without the whale tail.)

Torque: 404lb ft

Engine covered approximately 20,000 miles.

Bottom end:
200 block Machined oil ways & piston oil sprays
6 long studs (ARP Stud & Nut Kit)
Fully lightened & balanced (crank, rods, flywheel, pulleys etc)
Forged Cosworth pistons (standard size)
7.56:1 compression ratio

Crank grind unknown - possible .25/.25 (mains/bigends)

Matched Escort Cosworth Inlet Manifold
Ported & polished
Light Gasflowing
Isky valve springs
SCS spec cams
400 ice blue injectors
4wd exhaust manifold.
L8 400hp chip (Live Mapped Ahmed Bajoo)
Multilayered Head Gasket

Turbocharger:
T34 hybrid turbo
.55 motorsport exhaust housing
7 degree cut back blades
Gas flowed compressor housing
360 degree thrust bearing

The engine comes WITH Cylinder Head, 200 Block, Inlet Manifold, Exhaust Manifold, Ice Blue Injectors, T34 Turbo (inc. .55 Housing and actuator), L8 Management Chip, and Distributor. (I may of missed some off this list)

The Engine does NOT come with Clutch, alternator, starter motor, cam cover, Ignition leads, fuel rail, Sump and Diff. (I may of missed some off this list)



I have replaced the Cam Belt, Water Pump and All Hydraulic Lifters. Also oil has been changed around 6 times since I have brought the car and have only covered 8000miles.

Not sure yet Dave, Im trying my hand at the bodywork over the next few months. When the bodyworks all sorted I will decide if to put a bigger bhp engine in or put it back to standard and sell it!
