Default 15 or 16"?

I'm about to order some new wheels for the Pumarse, and wondered what you prefer. Be it because of tyre prices or whatever reason.
I'm thinking of staying on 15's, I know brakes are an issue under them but I'm thinking of going with some Wilwood calipers at some point so can run a 280mm disc or something.

Was supposed to say 16's, I thought 15's needed the calipers triming to fit under

For simplicity and choice of tyres - 15's
16's are a ballache size for tyres, they're not hard to get but they don't have the choice available to 15's and 17's.

Tyres are the next thing, would like to run some silly semi slicks but probably OTT.

I'd just go with a good tyre, Yoko A539, Parada, Toyo Proxes etc...

Someone may know better but semi slicks are a bit of overkill and can cause issues with other parts unless its fully sorted.
