1999 puma 1.4 very hard to select any gears at all, stalls at traffic lights when trying to hold it on the clutch and seems to be crawling forward with the clutch depressed.......................PLEASE HELP.

 

Check the brake fluid level. Bleed the clutch.

Or adjust the clutch cable.

Depending on what you've got, don't know if a puma is hydraulic or not

look for fluid/damp at the bottom of the gearbox/engine join


pump the clutch 5 or 6 times at a standstill, if it gets better it will be the hydraulic slave cylinder, if not a worn out drive plate, either way stick a 3 piece clutch kit in it when the box is out
