I have a 2001 Puma Thunder and the ABS / Anti skid warning light has come on. This was preceded by an brief intermittent whirring sound coming from, I presume, the brakes when driving along normally. That sound has now stopped but the ABS warning light stay on. Has anyone any idea what the likely cause is and what the solution is to fixing it. Thanks.

 

abs sensor they are available from motor factors for Ł45, Ford will charge you Ł110 for the same part.
