alright lads ive got a problem with the steering wheel of my racing puma its covered with alcantra and its all coming off ive been quoted £250 - £300 to send it away and recover it ! seem alot for a bit of blue clothe
anyone suggest anything apart from getting my a%$e rapped

Just have it retrimmed. Paid £60 to get one done a few years back. You can buy the material yourself, try ebay. Then just take it to an upholsterers.

there's a guy on ebay, based ingermany that has done alot of wheels for the Focus RS owners on the RSOC, charges about £150 and can do any desing you want.

im sure pumaspeed sell the cloth on its own and its not that expensive, then just find someone close who sepcialises in fabric retrimming, im pretty sure its not a big job.
steering wheel fabric is a really common problem on the frp, even 30-40k mileage puma's can have major wear, are nice when done though.
